The pupils in our A.S.D. classrooms take part in equine assisted therapy at Liskennett Farm. The multi-sensory experience of riding a horse stimulates physical and emotional systems in the body. Pupils with A.S.D benefit greatly from the soothing effect in the wave-like movement of trotting and cantering on a horse. The pupils have built loving relationships with the horses. We are very fortunate to be able to avail of this service.
