The school takes part in lots of initiatives to promote dancing in the school. Dancing is taught through the Dance strand in P.E. every year.  Pat O Dea, local sean nós teacher, comes to the school to teach the pupils sean nós dancing. The school has ran Zumba dancing in the school in the past with Geri. The school acquired the services of Tynan O Neill Dance school in 2019/20, to teach the pupils Irish Dancing. As part of the Active flag initiative, the whole school took part in whole school flash mob dances to the Maxerena and An Dreoilin, which was great fun. The school encourages and promotes dancing at school assemblies. At school assemblies we encourage student that take part in ballad, free style dancing, sean nos dancing, Irish dancing and set-dancing to perform and showcase their skills.
