The school takes part in lots of initiatives to promote dancing in the school. Dancing is taught through the Dance strand in P.E. every year. 
The school has had Pat O Dea, local sean nós teacher,  Zumba dancing in with Geri, Tynan O Neill Dance to teach the pupils Irish Dancing, and Shelley from Shelley School of Dance in to teach us all some dancing. 
As part of the Active flag initiative, the whole school took part in whole school flash mob dances to the Maxerena and An Dreoilin, which was great fun. The school encourages and promotes dancing at school assemblies.
​At school assemblies we encourage student that take part in ballad, free style dancing, sean nos dancing, Irish dancing and set-dancing to perform and showcase their skills.
