The Board of Management's(BoM) main function is to manage the school on behalf of the patron. The Board of Management manages the school on behalf of the patron and is accountable to the patron and the Minister of Education. The board must uphold the characteristic spirit (ethos) of the school and is accountable to the patron for so doing.

Fr. Pat Currivan(RIP) Caherline NS wishes to acknowledge the tremendous service given by Fr. Pat Currivan for over forty years on the Board of Management of our school. He was a great friend to all in our school. We treasured his weekly visits to the school every Tuesday. He gave incredible service to the school for over forty years, in role of chairperson of the Board of Management and as parish priest. We celebrated his birthday each year at school, and will cherish the memories of the celebrations for his 90th birthday. "Ar dheis Dé go raibh a n-anam"
